Shadow Our Veterinarian's Daily Life

In a span of 3 shifts, you will be working with a skilled team of veterinarians and technicians! You will be actively participating in high-quality spay/neuter clinics, get a feel for the inner workings of a veterinary general practice environment, as well as experience what its like to work in an busy urgent care environment. This is perfect for aspiring veterinarian assistants, veterinarian technicians, and veterinarian students!

Some of your tasks will include:

• Learning how to perform a physical exam
• Learn how to set up for and observe intravenous catheter placements
• Learn and observe ET tube placements for general anesthesia in pets
• Pre-surgery preparation of patients
• Learn and practice various sutures techniques
• Assist veterinarians with anesthetic procedures
• Post-surgery: provide recovery attention to patients
• Lunch is included on all 3 shifts-- your choice of restaurant!
